The Inaugural Nation Builders Conference took place from the 15 to 21 January 2016 Port Moresby. It gathered 33 students in the 3rd level of The Voice Inc’s Leadership Development Program at the University of PNG and the PNG University of Technology. The aim of the Conference was to build the 41 students leadership skills, engage their views on policy issues and build team spirit among the students across the two University Campuses.
The Conference brought together leaders from Government, bilateral agencies and community leaders to engage in conversations with students on issues of nation building. We were very proud to announce the Patron of the Conference, Dame Meg Taylor who took one week out of her schedule to attend various sessions with the Conference.
The outcomes and recommendations of the Conference were presented at the State Function Room in front of our partners and friends. The outcomes can be read here.
